Regular Membership Application

Membership in the Association includes Regular and Honorary Members. We welcome
you to consider membership in the Association and join the wide spectrum of individuals
and corporations that form the coal industry in Hampton Roads. Please contact one of
the officers or directors for further information.

An individual member is a person  engaged in the coal industry or a related industry whom
wishes to apply for membership  in the association.  This class of membership is available to
an Applicant who works or resides within or beyond the Hampton Roads region.  After
receiving a completed application, properly endorsed by two (2) Members in good standing,
the Board of Directors shall present the Applicant for approval by a majority vote of the
Membership.

An honorary member is a person presented to the Board of Directors to be nominated for
such membership by that committee, and voted upon in the manner prescribed in the
bylaws.  The Honorary Member pays no membership fee for the duration of his/her lifetime.
All other fees, as related to Association events, are at the Honorary Member’s expense or
that of a hosting Individual Member.
